Today, as our gospel reading reminds us, Jesus Christ promised that he would “be with us always” (Matthew 28:20). He did not promise that our life’s journey would be without obstacles or hardship. We continue to be the church in this unstable time, confident that Jesus journeys with us through it because we trust in Christ, who is redeeming all things for his glory!
